Pens buzzing. Then EK and Malkin start passing it around, turnover. Let’s not lose sight of what’s wrong with this team. |

It's like the game Brassard had when JR gave up all those assets for him lol.

Dubas Friday afternoon: we moved gutz for a 1st and prospect playing in the sub Sahara league. We really couldn’t get what we saw as fair value for anything else. We like our roster and with some more experience it will all come together. We can shore our core up with players you never heard of that did t work out anywhere else. |

He has moved into a tie with Brassard for my least favorite Pen of all time. Doesn't give a poop all year and now that we decide we are selling he shows up for a game. Hopefully we at least get something decent for him. |

Man I just hope Carter signs somewhere next year to play at 40 years old. If anything is salvaged from this season watching him just do his thing and score amazingly timely goals that only legends score is it. Just a true privilege I hope you “pens fans” realize. |

No offense to Malkin, but he's lost more steps than Crosby has, and I don't think he could play games full time on his wing at this point in his career. He's lower end 2C upper end 3C, trending toward the latter with a "put him on if the face off is not in our zone" strategy.
I do think finding a 2C is wise. I wonder if that is a play with VAN, **if** Lindholm would sign with PIT for reasonable $ to play 2C...could we get him + draft pick or prospect for Guentzel? Then, pray he comes back next season?? |

Yeah Malkin can’t hack it at 2c this point. |

Add speed to his wings. Plus, get a better 2 way 3C. Probably a lot to ask, but that's what I'd do. |

I think he actually was mad because he heard about the Vegas trade, and now believes they turned their back on him. So he was playing fired up! |

One has to wonder why smith would not want to play with crosby, malkin, karlsson and letang? WIth the fab 4 the pens have wouldn't you think any hockey player would be thrilled to play with sid and company? I don't believe smith was the only player to want to leave pittsburgh either? Why else would he sign here? Might it be the fab 4 or coach sullivan that smith wants out? |

You should probably do some research before you post something like this. Geno’s production is more in line with low end 1st line forwards and top end 2Cs. There aren’t many 2Cs with better raw production than Geno and that’s with an albatross of a PP this season. |
