The average of the 2nd place scorer was 130 points.

In 1983-84 Gretzky had 205 pts in 74 GP. The 2nd highest total was teammate Paul Coffee with 126 pts in 80 GP

Adjusting stats for era does nothing to diminish from Gretzky's dominance. He's the best player ever.
