That wouldn’t suck. Vancouver is over preforming this season and their cap situation isn’t great. Their pick in 2025 is likely a higher value asset

So, Ive mentioned here before that two really good buddies of mine are diehard Avs fans. They are literally jumping for f'n joy right now they actually rid of Johansen. He's been completely f'n useless...harming the on ice product nightly.

DK Sports reported seeing Jake hugging and emotional with the equipment manager last night after the game. Maybe that's a signal that they are getting something done but we're running out of options.

They're both goalies and I organize a rec game they usually play in. We have a group chat called "The netminders" and I just said to them "is he really that bad with 13 goals playing in the bottom 6" and they said those goals came from when he was playing in top 6 and that had two in a game a few weeks ago and it was the first time scoring since before Christmas haha.

Has he played any RW with Pitt? Would be unprecedented if this happens, but probably means you get Othmann++ which would hurt to see him there for the next 10 or so years.

I’m kinda shocked I would have assumed that the decision not to resign was his. If he wanted to stay and the best piece we get back for him ends up being Hoglander that’s a big whiff
