Willy was so good on the pk tonight. Strong game overall. Sammy/Willy best Leafs tonight and it wasn’t close.
Nice pass by Marner on the OT goal - but holy hell 34! Makes everything look so easy it’s insane how gifted those hands are. So skilled. Took the pass cross body going across, and out it back to far top twine. Unreal. Flick of the wrist.
Edit: team liked gassed and done faces looked mighty unhealthy! Christ. Gonna be tough to win a back to back with travel (though not too far) on the road with whatever the hell is in that room
Who would Buds even want from either? I guess Chyck from Sens but he’s a lefty.
From isle it won’t be Dobson or Pelech so I’m not sore who the heck would interest Tre. Unless he goes super underwhelming and grabs Palmeri or Pageau from Isle…but that’s like pulling a Dumba.
Dubas left the Leafs screwed for years to come. All these teams loading up and the Leafs can do nothing of consequence. It will be another 1st round exit.
Holy $#!+, Vegas' first in the Hanifin trade is conditional, they have the option of using it THIS deadline if they want. Then it becomes a 2026 first. THEY MIGHT NOT BE DONE! - Whipper
double retention as well on Hanifin current contract.

Hanifin was probably the best option on the market to fill Sergachev's hole.
No, I am not gonna reword that. You have a dirty mind.
With Hanifin off to Vegas (phuck them), that leaves a dwindling pool of scrubs and overpaid hasbeens for the Leafs and Lightning to fight over.
I am not optimistic for the southern Blue and White. It's obvious the lack of trading assets is handicapping Briesbois. - GalacticStone
A fully healthy Vegas is probably the front runner. No doubt they will sign Hanifin to "below" value in the offseason and let Martinez walk to continue their bullpoop brilliance.

everything Dubious did was fully supported and approved by the Shanaplan...and he is still around.

All former GMs do that to their former team. - dmnted
Umm not really.
Most gms don't know when they will be fired until they are and dubas thought he was coming back.
Most gms sign players to long term deals with the believe they may not be around to see them be completed. That i agree with.
But 4 picks in the first three rounds over the next 3 years without having been to the 3rd round and not having a couple of those tdl acquisitions extend on the team? Is really bad imo.
Ah well old news.
Lets see what Tre can do.
