Am I the only one who liked Lagesson? I don't mind buying depth, but 2 picks for a guy that is in my opinion almost even with Lagesson seems like a waste of assets.

Why would STL ever do that? Brodie has no term, and has regressed significantly, and Robertson has shown some promise, but could be a complete bust and is injury prone and undersized.

No change that is enough to get a big hard D with a lot of term left.

Well for one his "fancy stats" improved when he was traded to the Leafs the first time.

The fancy stats tell us he is good at stopping plays.

They say he handles the puck like a grenade but when you actually watch him he has a pretty decent 1st pass. The kind of 1st pass that is effective when passing to AM, Marner and friends with a structured system. In a tire fire of a team passing to fancy pants Zegras and a bunch of crap players? Yeah his charts will plummet.

I like Boosh. He's a big guy with a simple game who pairs well with Rielly. I don't see him pairing well with Eddy.
Benoit-McCabe works because there is talent as well as "Snot."
There's simply not enough talent with a Boosh/Eddy pairing.

I'm curious to see how the pairings shake out. I don't think Tree is done yet either, but my hope is Edmundson is this years Gustafson and they simply never play him.
