Hearing the New York Rangers are closing in on a trade for Kraken center Alex Wennberg.

It really does seem like the Leafs are going to have to go dumpster diving. Honestly, id prefer if they do nothing if there is no significant upgrade.

Would say close to done given the Avs were the other team in on him and they just went and made a move to get a different center

Doubt the Leafs were in on him though. 4.5 mil and don't have a lot of assets to make a move that fit the Kraken needs there overall.

And Seeler re-upped with Flyers so he isnt going anywhere now.

If Brad is looking at your top 2 picks in Parayko and Chychrun Brodie would have to be involved.

Would make sense that he would be looking at a 3rd pair D to replace him in said scenario.
