If you want to trade Brodie to fit Parayko, fine. But adding 400k in Edmondson isn't needed for the little assets the Leafs already have.

Regardless I am sorry but if you think the Leafs are going into playoffs with 7D you are wrong, way wrong. They will 100% have at least 8 NHL D. Treliving is on record saying you need plenty of depth.

so yeah, adding a 6-8D for 400K cap to save cap space is important in this scenario.

I could see Robertson slotting in for McMann again, but I have liked him. The 4th line can all be moved around/scratched/traded. I doubt Reaves plays much in the playoffs, well see.

So, I must give up any first I claim, but the majority of you are not bound by that rule.

FWIW, Rule 420c states that after 10 years of actively rooting for the Leafs in good faith, a non-native can apply for a special permit that bestows limited native fan privileges, such as claiming firsts. But the permit must be approved by all 32 acting members of the Leafs HB board of directors.

Subsection 15, paragraph C states that a fan of another team with team colors of Blue and White can also apply for a permit after 10 years, but it only requires a simple majority vote.
