Never mind! Kuznetsov. - BINGO!
I like the move.
Plenty of upside, he’s only 31, salary is low-ish and if he goes back on the coke you can LTIR him. |

It might sound weird but I'd rather them face Boston then Florida by miles.
Florida looks like the team to beat in the East. Boston comes with the built in motivation you'd hope they'd find. - The Law

On a train to Montreal.
There’s a group of four women also heading up to go to the game tomorrow night.
They ordered their first round of beers at 10 am.
Hard franking core. - Atomic Wedgie
I was on a train to Montreal for a Leaf game one time and a group of 6 guys were doing something similar but they had clearly been drinking before getting on the train.
We all got to sit in the train for an extra hour & a half just east of Kingston so the police could board the train and pull these losers off the train as they were so disruptive the VIA staff called the cops.
Kinda' killed the easy, convenience, joy and time savings of taking the train vs driving....hopefully your hard core lady crew keep it together and you don't get to experience that.
Maybe you need to buy them a round, it is international women's day apparently. No risk of forgetting as my employer has sent out no less than 5 emails leading up to it and 2 so far today.

Side note - Is Boston to Toronto is what Pittsburgh was to Washington (until they weren't) and if so is this the year Toronto finally can get over that hump?
I sure hope so. - Cush29
Yes.
I'll say this repeatedly but professional athletes are all insanely and ridiculously talented. Some are obviously just better, but really confidence is king. Those guys who believe they can do it and they believe it every time will be better than those that have doubts. When Washington beat Pittsburgh it was the one thing that they didn't think they could do. I think as long as that hangs over your team - like a storm cloud - your team will have doubts about themselves. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy in a way. You find ways to lose, to beat yourselves.
Last year they beat Tampa which was one of the demons. This year I don't know if they DO actually do it, but I believe they CAN beat Boston and it would be the critical step in taking the next step forward - several years late, but still a necessary step.

Was sitting on a GO train at Oakville station, on the way to a Pink Floyd concert. Once all the cars started to fill with weed\tobacco smoke, they had to pull up a second train and kick off all the concert goers onto it. Regular commuters didn't know what hit em.

I'm old enough that I played the original roleplaying game, GURPS (the module was Gamma World (just had to look it up! It's been a long f'n time!)) that the video game Fallout ended up being based on.
I've generally liked the Fallout video game series - it's a consistent style and environment - and you go from game to game with the same overall feel. |

That's what I referenced in an earlier post, too; confidence. They had it in round one, then got complacent thinking they'd roll over FLA in round 2.

another aspect about Marchand and why he is so good at what he does, is people still are not sure if he did something on purpose or not - senstroll
Which is insane, if we're being serious.
Of (frank)ing course it was intentional. It really shouldn't even be a debate. He does that poop 20 times a season. |
