It's insipid that they decided to give Knies a penalty - just so they could reward Boston with a 5-on-3. It's borderline corrupt if you think about it.

Then they miss the trips, the cross-checks and elbow to Knies' face - that you know the DOPS won't even acknowledge. It's got all the makings of another Leaf suspension.

The NHL is so pathetically laughable in so many ways, officiating in general seems to be close to if not the top of that list.

I’m sorry guys but the Leafs have to do more of what it takes to win. And sometimes that’s going out and intentionally injuring the other teams players. Brad Marchand has made a career of it.
