Oh I agree with you. Adding Lyubushkin and Edmundson is essentially the defensive physical style the leafs needed to bring in. Trust me though, unless it’s some sort of stud star type player brought in there is always the complaining.

I think the impact player to change the leafs isn't coming. The team simply needs to perform upto it's potential in the playoffs. The big stars have to be big stars every night and every shift.

Agree with this, we may / probably have seen all Tre is going to do and come summer he will re-evaluate based on how the post season goes. If he's gong to make a big move why do it now when the prices are uber inflated?

I’d just start rebuilding the team with ownership’s support and hope guys like Crosby/Malkin/Letang become willing to be shipped to a competitor to speed the rebuild up. Hell, even get the local media to start chirping that them sticking around simply slows down a necessary rebuild and that way the fanbase might start disliking them creating their urge to want to go.
