Think at this point the only move left can see Tre doung is nringing in a 3C. Move JT to wing with Domi at C line 2. JT is the net front presence. Bert is the same on line 3 with new center and McMann.

After that its try keeping everyone healthy and do what we can.

I think the impact player to change the leafs isn't coming. The team simply needs to perform upto it's potential in the playoffs. The big stars have to be big stars every night and every shift.

Problem is he didnt produce on the wing. If you have a proper 3C, you at least insulate if he gets waived out or defensive zone faceoff putting JT in to take the draw.

Anyway, what that doesn't necessarily show is that the picks are still 1st rounders but are still less likely to be NHL players after pick 25 - and far less likely to be in that elite tier of player after pick 5, but by pick 26 your chance of snagging a star player is pretty much the same until about the mid-third round.

but it gave birth to my avatar so not all that bad. He was one of those players that found chemistry with a good player and was not the same without that guy. Markov made Komi earned a lot of money with the Leafs.

Oh some read and some don’t, I can tell by their replies sometimes lol

All in all tho, giving up a third and fifth for a proven NHLer is never a bad idea if the team is looking for people who can play now. Otherwise it’s nothing more than a 20% chance of one of the picks turning into something usable in a few years.
