Once I got out of the service and came back from Germany in 86 I simply stopped drinking any beer in the states - It was just a colossal waste of money.

Well? The last game until next Thursday. Best get this win and then go get healed up and get some practice time in. Pretty much sure that it'll be the Bruins in the playoffs. The Bruins may have won the games this week, but the Leafs showed them that it's going to be a more physical series than they believed. Leafs just hit them at a time that they were at the end of a stretch of many games being played close together. A rested and healthy Leafs team probably wins at least one of those two games, but it is what it is. There should be no excuses once playoff time arrives. Besides, the Leafs are a better road team than a home team, with less pressure while away. A lot of unhappy people out there after they lost 2 games to the Bruins. This team may surprise a lot of people this year. They have more physicality and jam to their game. Any team that takes them lightly will pay the price. The stretch drive should be exciting. Keep the faith.

Last time I was in Montreal I went to the hotel bar, asked the bartender to put on the Leafs game (after ordering a $24 espresso martini) and he flat out said no. And there were 8 TVs in there, and about the same number of people. Nobody was watching TV.
