Yeah I don't know why so many seem surprised by the lack of moves from Tree today. They have too many holes to patch up at the deadline. Of course anything can happen in the playoffs but they aren't likely to go deep this year. Keeping his bullets for the off-season.

Like, summer 2024, or 2025? I think he'll be fairly handcuffed this summer with Nylander's new contract kicking in and Tavares still on the books. We're basically squad wiping our tendies, and, yes, Brodie comes off the books, but you have to replace him, too. I haven't given up on Brad, but it'll take him a bit to salvage what Dubas left him.
