Dewar

Or flip the last two?

I'm sure Keefe will try it both ways. Even more line juggling inbound!

Tree keeps the 1st, so thats good.

The ability to add Hertl is insignificant, compared to the power of BeLeaf.

He’s a third round pick that has proven he’s NHL capable and is only 24. Why would it be a problem giving up a pick with only a 10.9% chance of being a guy that plays 100 games in the NHL for that?
- Dozzer

He's worth a 4th ...not sure he's a great fit (would've liked more size on 4th liner) ...but, it's not an overpay.

TSN Panel pretty much hates the deal. Confused by the trade.

Weird, SN LOVED it! Biz, Bieksa, etc all had good things to say.

I respect Biz's opinion.

Isn't it just Gregor out ...Dewar in? Dewar plays LW and C. I assume they wanted a PK/defensive type in and Gregor out.

The poopty PK was absolutely crushing them.

Because you cant trade away every single pick for poopty players. The you get into the situation like today where you have nothing good to trade. I am fine with trading away picks, but for good players.

He is not a good player. He has been in an out of Minnesota's lineup this year, and is his moving the needle? Its wasted assets IMO. In what world is paying a 4th round pick for a bad small 4th line player a good idea?

I can see this being a move to put JT on the wing except during faceoffs.

All baffled that he's a C .......ignoring that he's also winger. That's a lot of overpaid overthink going on for the panel.

Imagine if all their new guys take a while to gel, and Calgary or Seattle go on a heater and catch them.

He’s got 10 goals in 57 games on a third line.

As for in and out you’re completely wrong, 80 games last year and he has only missed 6 this year due to an injury that took him out in late January and early February.

I think with the dust settled and the moves made we can look and see what he did not spend the 1st on.

It probably would have gotten him Tanev or Walker.

Could've used it to outbid on Henrique or Wennberg.

Not much else ....

Fast

Excellent PK and defensive forward

Much better than Gregor

Minny fans are sad to see him go

- Santo_44

Bieksa has a high opinion of him. He said he’s the kind of player that you want on your team.

They are talking impact at center. What do they do? Who plays where? Who is bumped?
Move Kampf to 3rd. JT up. Domi back to wing where he sucked jizballs.
Don’t play him at center…problem solved.
