Smart play there really. West is loading up and looks like couple teams in the East. You shore up a bit but lets be real hard to go all in when you have little to do so with here. Leafs gonna need to really retool in offseason and actually hit home runs in fa.

Agreed. Same thing ive been saying all season, he'll fill some gaps but he doesnt have a lot to play with. Considering he still has 5 more years of Matthews, so he's gonna wanna do some tinkering those years as well.
I think the off season that Tavares comes off the books will be their next "all in year". Theyll have cap and picks etc.
