So many good IPA now. In my area Flying Monkey's is popular. They have some wild 10+ percent beers but the juicy ass is the staple. Nice 6.5% New England style IPA. Little on the fruity side. Life in the Clouds and Ransack the Universe by Collective Arts are a few others I tend to grab often #beerbuzz

Is the Flykng Monley Brewery “in your area”? It’s in mine - I walked my dog past it last weekend where we went down to the waterfront. The brewery has tours and a a restaurant with a patio I believe. I’ve always wanted to go but haven’t yet.

The west is going to have a very interesting playoffs. Colorado/Dallas/Vegas/Edmonton/Winnipeg are all teams that if hot during the post season look out.

It pains me so much to say this... but watch for the kings lurking... getting a bunch of guys back and healthy..

I'm going to the game tonight... see if Dallas is that great or we just absolutely blow...

Note... Byfield is example A,B and C on why not to give up on guys to early... Dude is an absolute Beast .. and a yr ago... kings fans wanted to include him in every day that came along...

Yeah it is. I assume you're in Barrie or surrounding area. It's a cool spot. Food is pretty decent. Tons of funky, crazy beers if that's your thing.

Pint of Guiness is fantastic, by the way. And pints of Coors Banquet is good sometimes.

I agree with the rest, though.

Guinness is fantastic and my go to beer if there's nothing on draft that I haven't tried already.

IMHO, Coors Banquet is a waste of money. Would rather spend that money on a dram of Scotch instead.

That’s fair, and I can see what you’re saying, giving up on the kings is an early thing to do right now. I was mainly mentioning the beasts in the west but I totally get what you’re saying.

6 wins in the last 10 certainly isn’t bad either.

Always liked the kings, funny story for me is how other leaf fans reacted when they saw me in the gardens back in 93’ during the 3rd round of the playoffs with a leafs jersey and kings ball cap on lol. They were mad at me but forgave me when I told them my cousin was on the kings at the time lol.

Anyways enjoy the game live tonight!

Ya I’m in Barrie. I’ve had some of their beers and they were good except one sour one I wasn’t a big fan of.

The chocolate and cheese shop just down from the brewery is good (J’adore) but the place in the basement of the shop is awesome.

It’s prohibition themed and small called rhe “Speakcheesy”. Good eats and cheese (d’uh).

They do some special events there like wine tastings, scotch nosings etc.
