Excellent job by Brodie in front of the net on this PK. He worked Armia over hard, love it. - Cush29
Brodie has played great tonight. Some try to blame him for the PK goal but that was on McCabe.
People don’t want to give up Benoit, and it will pass. |

Good road win boys. Hopefully the flu bug is a thing of the past and we can string together some wins. |

Really liking Knies and Bobby Mack together. Get Knies away from hard matchups, good energy line and not a liability with Kampf there. - gravyface
Was thinking the same thing. Would like to see it for a bit

Although these lines looked like poop on paper, I'm glad Keefe is mixing things up. I know it's mostly Marner being out, but he's got a set roster now and needs to get the most out of it.
I think Domi needs to stay on the wing though. He's not a center in this league imo. |

Brodie is far better than Benoit in every aspect of the game except violence lol
If you admit that I’ll just jump on board with the conceptual support - Dozzer
Okay...maybe....partly.
Brodie has been one of my favs. Solid all the way along. Not sure if life/wife is an issue but his play has been horrible end of last year and all this year.
We can argue Beniot or Brodie all day. But can't argue Brodie before to Brodie now. |

They are in trouble if best PK player is useless. |

I am not sure about Domi, JT and Nylander but would give it a look.
Willie looked great on the PK tonight. 20-30 seconds and off, even on the 6-4, not getting stuck on the ice and caved in.

Queef thinks Timmins 9th best D Leafs have - jribout
Fixed.
And (frank) Queef.
AA could coach this team and have the same W%. There hasn't been this much talent on one Leafs team in a long time. This team by default and no coach would have the same W%.
I would bet Keefe has lost the Leafs more games by his presence or calls or match ups.... |

Timmins had 2 good games in the pre season. Couldn't even earn much time in Arizona.

lol no I couldn’t.
I’d literally tell them to figure it out themselves. They’d probably finish last. I’ve never coached a sport in my life.
Why tf do you think I could coach an NHL team?
I’m a manager tho, and I could do a better job than fake glasses boy.
Edit: Wait, did you mean Al Arbour? |

Make no mistake. This team's playoff fortunes are squarely on Samsonov's shoulders. |

Maybe it's time that Timmins gets a look over Liljegren. Timothy is too timid and he's a turnover machine. Too small to play with the big boys. He's been around long enough to make a judgement on him.
Leafs do look tired. People have to realize that they've played a lot of hockey since the All Star break. They now get 5 days off and they need to give them the first two to heal. Then they can start putting together their roster for the playoffs, experimenting with different defensive pairings and the bottom 6. They have depth but no cohesion right now. Hopefully, they rebound and start playing like they did a week ago.

On the right yes, on the left he’s acceptable. The $5 mill guy is now a $1.5 mill guy. Still a NHLer but only under protected chores so to speak
Can we agree on that? lol |

Speaking of spicy I tried something new this am for breakfast that was a winner for me - Fried eggs in a spicy chilli oil.
Cold pan, cover with oil, crack eggs, turn heat on med/low and as the eggs cook tilt the pan and baste the eggs with the oil to crisp up the edges.
Cook to desired yoke (I like mine runny) and serve.
On some toast with a bit of cheese under the egg - god dammit it was good and I've made myself hungry now. lol
