Knies and McMann = chemistry
I recall 3x where Bustuzzi couldn’t clear it out of our end
Good enough win

Make no mistake. This team's playoff fortunes are squarely on Samsonov's shoulders. - Leaffrog

Speaking of spicy I tried something new this am for breakfast that was a winner for me - Fried eggs in a spicy chilli oil.
Cold pan, cover with oil, crack eggs, turn heat on med/low and as the eggs cook tilt the pan and baste the eggs with the oil to crisp up the edges.
Cook to desired yoke (I like mine runny) and serve.
On some toast with a bit of cheese under the egg - god dammit it was good and I've made myself hungry now. lol - Cush29
nice. Ive done similar in a bit of pesto |

Maybe it's time that Timmins gets a look over Liljegren. Timothy is too timid and he's a turnover machine. Too small to play with the big boys. He's been around long enough to make a judgement on him.
Leafs do look tired. People have to realize that they've played a lot of hockey since the All Star break. They now get 5 days off and they need to give them the first two to heal. Then they can start putting together their roster for the playoffs, experimenting with different defensive pairings and the bottom 6. They have depth but no cohesion right now. Hopefully, they rebound and start playing like they did a week ago. - PrinceLH

Man - you’re reaching someone’s (not naming names) bizarre hate status of Willy but with 34 eh. Jesus.
For the last couple years you’ve unnecessarily chirped him a ton. He’s the arguably the best 2 way centre in the league. He is very good defensively with body positioning and his stick. He is far more often than not making the right okay with the puck.
I get you can cherry pick games or shifts to show otherwise, but those are complete outliers. 34’s standard is an exceptional 2 way game.
The first time this really made me wonder if you weee just trying to start poop or say things to get reactions was you chirping him in his Rocket, Ted, Hart winning season. It’s a weird look man. He’s the best player to ever wear your teams sweater by a lot. He is destroying the league goals wise again.
You will point to playoffs but that’s also an indictment in his teammates and especially for a scorer - his line mates. It also doesn’t make sense to use that point cause you chirp him a ton during the regular season. |

They are in trouble if best PK player is useless. - drexel
If best PK player on the leagues 22nd ranked penalty kill is the most endearing quality you can bring to the table about the guy, you just proved my point. |

Yes guy.
Lillybust doesn't look like he's taken enough of a step to play in the playoffs. Still have ~19 games or whatever, but he's closing in on make or break territory for defensemen at ~200 games. |

Samsonov was ok and lucky with a couple of posts. Leafs played poorly. One of their biggest issues especially on the powerplay is the unwillingness to drive the net and shoot the (frank)en puck. They seem to be looking for the perfect tap in goal and passes are getting picked off regularly. The Leafs did not register a shot on goal in the third period for the first nine minutes. That shouldn't happen against a poopbag team.
