Yeah, saw that yesterday. I think you can upset the balance of a contending team very easily if you bring in marquee players that are going to demand ice-time, while having a short period of time to familiarize themselves with players, linemates, and systems, rink, etc. And the kind of players that are moved are usually rentals, so guys looking to prove themselves in a contract year... maybe they're given too much ice-time, maybe not enough, things don't go well right away.

I like adding players for depth and fixing glaring holes, kind of like we did. No, we didn't get that stud RHD, but we did give Keefe some different looks for defence.
