It’s the best rivalry in sports.

Lots of fun chirping and trash talk amongst the fan bases last night, but all in good fun - nobody took it seriously, everyone was respectful and friendly.

We had dinner at McKibbin’s Pub before the game, and there were multiple tables with fans from both teams. How many sports rivalries can say that?

- Atomic Wedgie

Boston is special, but I do actually truly hate that team with a passion

I do not hate the Leafs at all to be honest, its more a poking fun thing for me

the Leafs never actually ever tried to kill Zednick or Pacioretty

I know the beer is good at McKibbins, how is their food you would say? some basic stuff like chicken wings (lol) and burgers would be my guess

are you from Toronto?

You're still hurting from last night's humiliation. I get it (not really, my VGK were glorious in golden victory).

all this time I thought you were a simple and honest habs fan chicken just merrily posting on HB, but now I'm not sure I can trust you at all about anything... what a tumultuous Sunday this has suddenly become.

Lacerated spleen for the captain, so no real time table yet. Teenage Mutant Ninja Hertl will be back before the playoffs.

The concern is Cheatarado having Swedish Mike Richards miraculously recover from his grandma hip in time for game 1

look

Boston faced Mtl over and over and over and over in the playoffs while I was alive

mtl faced Toronto once while I was alive and they actually won

Toronto used to be in the West forever

its not same as the Bruins, it really is not

are you stating this as a fact, or is this a strategy to hypnotize me into it?

for the record, TMNT is awesome but that is not a good reference/play on words at all.

yeah I totally get it and I wasn't being serious whatsoever lol, even if the laffs are a team that habs fans typically love to hate.

it's true though that the best rivalries are born during the playoffs, and with a team like Toronto that are all about the regular season it makes it more difficult to establish the same intensity.
