here it's been very gray, with rain mixed with just a tiny bit of snow. not the most joyous weather but not getting a (frank) ton of snow is always a win in my book.

i would never hurt the geese.

the other day i was sitting in the car gathering my stuff and i saw one goose pecking at the ground near a puddle and another goose just standing stone still watching it. so i wondered to myself "self, do geese mate for life?"

so i googled it and they do mate for life! that was a husband waiting patiently as his wife finished her meal.
