Maybe Trouba is the weak spot. Regardless, this pair should stay together. Neither has been better than they are now. Keep them together.

Zibs line looks more comfortable out there, this is what they needed….speed. Jack is fast. It’s only a matter of time before that line gets more goals, they all had a good game. Pyotr (weird fkin name) made some really good saves

Big win boys. That was a clutch win which is a good sign

I knew we were terrible this season on breakaways but I didn’t know how bad until they showed the stat last night. 7 for 71.

We’d have most points in NHL if they had scored only a few more.

What I am trying to say is we are a hell of a hockey team.

No it's okay. I know what I'm in for when I post in here. No more than I deserve.

(Canes should have won that game. Just poop puck luck.)

Canes could have been down 2 or 3 to zip after the first. Puck Luck or not, that was a game between 2 good teams which the Rangers happened to win. Canes could have won...I wouldn't go as far as saying they should have.

This is all fine and dandy until we have a repeat of the 2014 cup final where we couldn't score on a couple breakaways that would have changed that series...

What a great GD win that was last night!!

The best part for me was how they rediscovered it in the 3rd after getting pinned late in the 2nd. That is coaching at its finest.

Carolina hosts FLA tomorrow night, the NYR have a big opportunity to put some real distance here by the end of the weekend.

What a great defensive battle. Their committment to defense and the play of Miller..Jones..and Schneider has been exceptional. They have shown that they have another gear when needed and considering it was the 2nd game in a back to back was impressive.

I believe the Trouba injury caused a galvanizing effect. It pushed some new pairs into existence and forced some of the players out of their comfort zone routines.

What a game by Fox and Igor. Those two absolutely carried this team to 2 big points.

Have a feeling Troubas been injured for awhile on top of this new injury. Hopefully this time off relieves whatever’s been holding him back. Need him to play a simple and physical game. But agree with others, Schneider and Miller need to stay together. Very similar players and compliment each other really well.

I'm all about keeping Miller and Schneider together

in fact, back when TJ was trading Schneider all the time, I said that if Fox or Trouba ever went down, Schneider would step up big time, and then he called me a Karen

Wennberg has looked great since being traded here. He helps do all of the little things that keeps that third line buzzing. I also am really pleased with Roslovic on the first line. Overall, that was a great team win last night. Not much to complain about and outside of that one long shift, I never felt like that Rangers were in any real danger. They did a great job neutralizing the middle of the ice in the defensive zone.

I saw someone on Twitter mention Fox laid out Aho at the end of the game for some retribution for his hit in the past. Does anyone see that or have a video to show it?
