Truth be told, I think a trade is better than wasting four years at university if you’re just getting a nothing degree. Clearly there’s a need for specific degree’s but so many kids go, never use their degree, and put themselves in a hole trying to pay it back.

I wasn't saying Methot was a top d , just that a strong pairings are not that easy to replace, and for a good part of this season QH and FH have been one of the best defense pairings in the NHL, and alot of stats back it up .

Contract should reflect value but complimentary D shouldn’t be overrated. D that drive a pairing are the true worth. Seth Jones & Darnell Nurse 2 examples of bad contracts.

Meant Hronek is til he carries his own pairing. To date he hasn’t done that but is a top 4 RHD & will get paid.
