I don't get the idea with the gold drafting that you can just declare yourself out of the playoffs anytime and start gathering points to get #1 overall. Anytime there's a connor mcdavid or bedard some bubble team would just declare themselves out of the playoffs and get 82 games to gather points. Seems like a bad idea to allow teams to do that.
