A number of current Leafs players (how many?) have played with Andersen and know his tendencies. I think that should help, but it probably works both ways. I bet Matthews can pick him apart if given opportunity.

No. NOW.

No rational thinking allowed.

- Santo_44

You think your thinking is rational?

That’s cute in a not even close to (frank)ing reality way.

Following your train of thought the Leafs should get Felix Potvin to be the playoff starter because he was better in 1992 / 1993 than Sammy or Woll have been this year.

Lmfao

Play who gives you the best chance to win going into the playoffs which should be the goalie who is playing the best at that moment in time.

Personally I’m fine with it being Woll or Sammy.

How is that hard to understand?

From sportsnet stats
Looks like hes missed more time.

#Leafs record since 2018-19 when player is missing from lineup...

Tavares: 10-2-2 (.786)
Rielly: 31-11-4 (.717)
Nylander: 24-10-2 (.694)
Matthews: 24-12-0 (.667)

Mitch Marner: 11-12-2 (.480)

- Fakepartofme

Marner has been demonstrably worse than AM34 and BillNy this season.

Maybe. London is stacked.

Would be great if the kid is able to translate to the show.

It will be a topic making the media far too much, doesn’t mean I would be unhappy about it, but yeah, far too much lol

Went to the Knights game today with my buddy who has season tickets. A director of player development for an NHL team was in our seats. There is room to stand beside them and he asked if we minded if he stayed. We said sure, don't worry about working tonight if you need to know anything just ask us. He was great, had some interesting insights and some playful banter.

He said he was surprised Cowan dropped as low as he did in the draft last year. Cowan looks pretty good out there. Buzzing all over the ice, defensively responsible. I cannot see him being any less than a solid top 9.

Doing as well as he did in the Leafs training camp has to be a huge shot in the arm as far as confidence goes. All of a sudden you're back playing against pimply teenie boppers again, boom, 32 game point streak.

The NHL won’t stop them either.

In Canada roughly 40% of the population watch hockey, so that’s about 15.3 million. In the US only about 15% of their population watch it, but that is still more than Canada at about 51.2 million.

The league knows where the money is and it’s the states, and it’s adorable people think the sport is more important than the business. The league doesn’t give two poops about Canada because Canadians will keep watching no matter how pissed off they get. They’ll focus on growing the league where the money will be made. The business matters more than the sport.

So get ready to continue watching Canadians female dog about the league routinely but continue to watch as well. lol

Oh I know, but I also routinely see people under the belief that the league will step in and change the LTIR rules. Like one was if the season ended with a guy on the LTIR he shouldn’t be allowed to play again til the second round. I just shook my head.
