It'll be 3-0 before I finish my first beer. - Pelle31Forever
At least. My prediction is 7 1 loss. Isles are winning. Very soon we’ll be out of the playoff spot I’d say. |

I know your opinion and we disagree which is fine. Do you feel our goaltending situation is better now with Ersson as the clear number one with Petersen and sandy? Do you feel those two are better goaltenders than hart? - Hextall271
You know the answer to that question.

Might have to go with the Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA tonight. It's 14% ALC, so after one beer you can forget that it's 3-0 already.

I like the way you think. However it's a Labatt light weekend. |

You know the answer to that question. - MJL So you think Sandstrom is better that Hart? Go look at what Hart did when he played behind good teams. I disagree with your assessment. It's funny how you change things to fit your agenda. In Giroux's case it was cause he didn't have the talent around him to be successful, but then you seem to turn around and forget some of the garbage that Hart has been playing behind. I still think he would have been a championship caliber goalie behind a true contending team based on his pedigree, but unfortunately we will never find out. |

Agreed. A bit of a let down but look at it this way. Either the season ends mid April or late April. |

You're a ridiculous fool. You really are! How you determined there that I think Sandstrom is better than Hart is hysterical. It really is.
- MJL Well, if Hart was still here he would be in net today instead of Sandstrom, so in that regard they miss having Hart available. Hart is NOT a below average to average goalie. He is at worst average, but your predjudices will never cease to exist.

Again, you're being a fool. Look at what you just posted. You agreed with me but then say I have a predjudice for basically thinking the same thing about Hart. Thanks for the laughs. By all means, continue.

Hart was always a world class goalie and in his only playoff appearance at the NHL level he was very good! If this incident wasn't hanging over him and he was behind a true contender he would have been proven to be what he is. A true championship caliber goalie. Opinions vary and yours happens to be wrong. It's okay....really! |

Depends on the context. If we're comparing Carter Hart to all the goalies in the world, then yea, I guess he's a world class goalie. If we're comparing Hart to all the NHL goalies, then no, he's not even close. The rest of your post is fantasy and speculation. Carter Hart has never proven, nor provided any factual reason to believe that he is a true championship caliber goalie. You can pump your chest all you want and say my opinion was wrong. You're the guy who just tried to claim that I thought that Sandstrom is better than Hart. That's where your credibility is at. The available facts support my opinion. They don't support yours and that's okay....really!

Unibroue all the way when you’re in Canada. No, it was not named after Joffrey Lupul’s look.
La Fin Du Monde and Trois Pistoles are excellent. Blanche de Chambly is great on a hot day.
By the way, if the Leafs ever win the Cup again, it truly will be la fin du monde |

It was a statement to get a rise out of him and the purpose was served. Quite frankly though, I wouldn't be surprised if he felt that way cause he seems to like Hart about as much as he likes Torts. |

Agreed on Hart. He won everywhere he played before being drafted.
Considered one of the best goalie prospects ever in these parts. Only goalie ever to win CHL goalie of the year twice...with a clear head and sound team defence in front of him, he really could of been one of the best the Flyers ever had.
His head issues brought on by the WJC team stuff really messed him up. Having subpar teams in front of him seemed to wear him out physically and mentally as the year went on. I do think he could of been the guy for Philly to return to Championship status
I did want him traded at the end, as I felt he would bring more in a trade return than what the team was going to be able to do on the ice...ie" win a championship with the current crew.
Ersson looks worn out..they did this to him last year in th AHL too. |

Hart regressed and has been regressing since 20/21. Going to put all of that on the WJC issue? Here is the bottom line. I think it's been proven that if you have an average goalie, which is what Hart is at best. While also having a legitimate contender level roster, you can win with that goalie. That's not the question. The question is if that is true. Then why would you sign an average goalie to a long term deal in the 5-6M dollar range when you can just go out and get another average goalie cheaper. Or when you already have a younger goalie who is as good, if not better and as a rebuilding team, have a number of good goalie prospects in the system?
