Blown lead was tough - Canes are a good team and got a bit lucky / Leafs unlucky.

The season is draining quickly. The playoffs are a month away. I'd rather be where we are right now, with nowhere to go in either direction. You can experiment and find the right line matchups. Other teams, like Boston and Florida will beat the hell out of each other for first place and hopefully, it handicaps them once the playoffs start.

Starting to see Tampa make their move to solidify a playoff spot. I'm not sure that I'd want to play them in round 1 of the playoffs. They've just slid under the wire for the whole season, then made some smart moves at the deadline. Vasilevskyi has been average but he's starting to round into form. I'm glad we aren't playing them in round 1. Florida and Boston can battle for that honour. We'll just hone our skills and once it becomes clear who we're playing, we can scout them and find where their weaknesses are. For Leafs, just need to get healthy and be ready for game 1 on the road. Besides, the Leafs are a better road team and splitting one of the first two games will put the pressure on their opponent. I'm still guessing Boston, although Florida is in a bit of skid right now. They'll right their ship and finish 1st.
