The thing I remember about Torts and Hagelin is when a reporter asked why Hagelin wasn't on the powerplay, and Torts said "He stinks"

He meant only on the powerplay, but it still cracks me up when I watch that video

I understand that youre pointing more so at his attitude, and Im saying whether people like it or not, it seems to work… atleast in the short term. However, he certainly has an expiration. People can only tolerate it so much, even Flyers fans.

I have no idea how to interpret these graphs. I just assume they mean he's been bad. I'd consider trading him this offseason if his contract ask is too high, but then again his value won't be super high around the league because everyone else also sees these charts and how often he gets hurt. Bit of a pickle...

Big minutes and decent numbers for someone so young.

The Metro should be disbanded if the Cap get into the playoffs with a -20 to -30 goal differential.

That is the most telling stat for me. Every season I look at that as the playoff matchups are getting solidified and it's essentially all positive teams in the playoffs and all negative teams on the outside. One or 2 discrepancies maybe, but almost gospel.

Rule tweaks in the NHL. Puck over glass will eventually be a Coaches Challenge to remove penalty as will “Friendly Fire” high stick penalties. Other small changes also expected. These are recommendations that go to the competition committee and then to board for final approval.

Meh, you could review every play to make sure they got poop right. How bout hooking that wasn't a hook... tripping that wasn't a trip.... i mean at some point you turn everything over to computers or accept there is some human error sometime. Give me the flow of the game and human error every time
