Ohtanis interpreter was fired.
There was a clause saying that if at any point he is fired he can opt out at the end of that season. - Santo_44
i saw people saying that, but pretty sure that was corrected and it was only 2 other execs. not his interpreter |

Nothing will happen. It's the Dodgers and a blue state. It will get buried quickly. Of course Pete Rose got a lifetime ban for his gambling indiscretions as a manager. Rose should still be in the MLB Hall of Fame, but the politics of sport is at play here. - PrinceLH
first, you can bet on other sports not MLB, if you play MLB.
second Rose bet on baseball games..probably games he played/managed.
Rose should not..hes an idiot

A good bounce-back game for the Leafs last night. The Caps goaltender was very average and their defense wasn't great. It's nice to know that we let Rasmus Sandin go for Easton Cowan. Sandin looks like he did, when he was a Leaf. Something like Timothy Liljegren does right now. Can we find another sucker team with a late first rounder to take him off of our hands? Maybe a Chicago or Arizona, that has a plethora of late 1st rounders from contending teams moving forward. It would be nice to acquire another 1st rounder for next year so we can have a slow progression of prospects coming on line going forward.
I agree with a lot of the sentiments about our top end players last night, but one player many didn't say much about was Connor Timmins. He played very well last night. Quick passes out of his defensive zone and great skating. He has a bomb of a shot. That shot that he took from the point, that Matthews scored on, that was later overturned was something I haven't seen from any other defenseman on this Leafs team. They should have tried him on the powerplay to see if he could have loaded one up at the top of the slot. I don't know why Keefe hates him and rarely plays him. I get it that he has issues with staying healthy, but having a great skating right handed defenseman with another year of term can't hurt. Keefe needs to let him play against Edmonton and see how he handles the heavy going with the Oilers. It can't hurt having his speed and puck moving ability against a team like Edmonton. Time to see what this guy could bring to this team and see if he could make Liljegren obsolete. - PrinceLH
I also notice Timmins making some solid decision as well.
At one point both he and Benoit were going after the same player. Timmins realized this and backed off and let Benoit ingage the other player. |

I think we would be good with Martin Jones as our backup on a minimum salary. It would be counterproductive to bring Samsonov back, considering that Woll is our goalie for the future. That would probably be a $4M saving on the Cap going forward. I think Woll should start getting the majority of the starts moving forward. Sammy had a great run, but his last couple of games were mediocre. He made some great saves, but also let in a few that were stoppable when he's on his game. Those inconsistencies could cost you a playoff round. Lets see where Woll's at going down the stretch. - PrinceLH
they got another back to back this weekend.
Should be a good test for Woll in one of those games. |

Its safe to say, Tre isnt signing an old former leafs goalie that was run out of town because he is according to you " best friends" with Matthews.
Tre will sign him if he feels he can help the leafs.
Its that simple.
But go ahead and argue away - Fakepartofme
Never said it was the sole reason, said plenty of other reasons why he would be a fit here but you chose to ignore them and try and poop on the best friend thing because it is all you have.
Then you say "doubt it happens" which is completely irrelevant. Any available player is doubtful to be acquired because there are 31 other teams also in for their services. All it is is naming a potential player that can be a fit, no poop it is doubtful. That isn't the point.
The only one that is arguing here is you. I at least say things to support my potential add to the Leafs. You just say things like "doubt it will happen" and "best friends don't matter." You can't handle disagreeing with me and its hilarious. |

So Tom Wilson is getting an in-person hearing for the high stick to Gregor.
Did anyone think it was a poopty move last night? I thought it was just meh, guess I should rewatch it. |

Apparently it caused dental damage.
At least that's what I read on the innerwebs. |

Wilson is a piece of poop cut from the same mold as Marchand. He can always argue it was not intentional, but that kind of poop always seems to happen in his presence. Funny how guys with a lot more games in the league don't have people mysteriously getting elbowed, kneed, or slewfooted in their presence... |

You saying "cause they are best friends" isnt the support you think it is.
I simply said i doubt Tre pays any attention to that nonsense. But if you think so, great. |

He did a one handed swing with his stick to the players face, i think he realized he (frank)ed up. But the damage was done.
Glad its being looked at, what comes from it we'll see i guess. |

They should allow any kind of betting on any sport including your own, as long as you use the official, league approved and sponsored betting app. Otherwise, gambling is very bad. |
