yeah, it isn't nonsense, and I don't think anyone here has ever been forced to use a particular pronoun against their will. people like to whine about it because they hear other people whine about it in the news.

yeah, you're mixing a whole bunch of concepts together, assuming that everyone that wants to be identified with another pronoun is just a spoiled brat seeking attention.

by the way there aren't any kids identifying as cats, or at least not on a common basis. it had to do with one particular case that went viral.

Not gonna get into this, because it is a stupid debate.

People are allowed to think what they want, I really do not care. But when they impose their belief in a way that it impacts others just to satisfy themselves, that is a problem.

Bottom line, be respectful to others, even if they differ from you. If someone would rather be referred to as they/them, what they (frank) is that to you? If someone has different religious or personal beliefs, what the (frank) do you care as long as they do not try to force them on you?

Just walk away.

Not worth it.
