Are they playing tonight?

I think it will be a good one. It shouldn’t be as the Flames suck, but the Canucks will play down to their opponent. I can see it going to OT.

I think Tocc has the boys ready like Montreal and they get out with a 4-2 W

We will see if the team has grown. They played to expectations against BUF and MTL. Maybe the team is over that hump.

I agree, should be a guaranteed win for the Canucks. Most interesting for me is whether Kuzmenko out scores Lindholm, and who does Zadorov target as he wasn’t well liked when he left.

I wonder if Canucks will take a look at Likker in the next three games after tonight? No harm in looking to see where he fits next year. See if he is ready like Brock was.

It seems they’re working on playoff style hockey. Not goal hunting. They suppress shots against and north south it up the ice. They are happy with one goal leads. But if they wear a team down popping more in can happen too.

Can they sign him and then send him to the Worlds? Not sure how that works.

Also, going to watch Canada play at the Worlds, should be fun and boozy

He is already signed. He was on loan.

It would eat up one of his ELC years but I don't think they care.

Fair enough. Ya if they want to see if he can provide some potential playoff depth then why not. The Canucks are lacking high-end top 6 players, so if he could be a fill in if someone gets hurt...

Exactly.

No harm in looking. It might also give you an idea of what you might have to look for in the offseason for wingers.

the side stories are more intriguing than the game itself.

Two Dmen the Canucks may want to look at in the summer that are UFAs are Brodie and Dillon. If you can get them cheap.

I still want them to go after Toffoli so I am hoping there are no floods this summer.

I think he might retire. I believe his wife is sick and he doesn't play well anymore.

I had thought that Leafs were burying him for cap reasons, but if that is the case then try someone else.

What an awesome night that was. Sadly enough, that was the last game Rick Rypien scored an NHL goal.

Don’t need a 3rd pair LHD in Brodie.
Toffoli means letting Lindholm walk.
Costly rental but too early to see where it’s going.

If you or any one else is interested I posted the LeBrun interview with Allvin in the Athletic thread in Forums.
It is lengthy but worth a read, and knowing you have a subscription you probably already read it, so more for others.
