it's all good. I'm not upset towards you...i just don't like the standing point system. It's very misleading.
BTW - I miss your PR avatar. You need to go back to it. - mames11

Being the Rangers are one point behind the B's for #1 in the east...it's really silly if you ask me. Bruins have played one more game and have 5 fewer wins.
B's have 30 losses overall. Loser points are so fvcking stupid. - mames11
3-2-1-0 system fixes everything. NHL refuses to change. Parity is good. Parity is $$$. |

It would give teams way out of the playoff picture a chance to catch up to. Trying to get those 3 point regulation wins. Right now with 3 point games just so hard for teams to to catch up and get back into it |

Stop rewarding teams with the loser points, problem solved. Running the NHL doesn't seem hard. |

MVP stat of the season, kucherov has pts on 50.6% of the TB goals this year. Thats bonkers |

Rangers saw that stat first-hand last week. Unreal... |

I don’t disagree but at the same time, what does a loss 3v3 or in a shootout even really mean for a team? Like, it’s not relevant to the rest of the game - picklerick
Are you advocating for sudden death hockey until somebody scores? Bet the player union wouldnt like that. If you have to break a tie at 5 x 5, well, that could take some time.
Also not unprecedented. In football you have kickers decide games. |

the problem with that is that they would have to resurface the ice and I don't think anyone wants another full intermission after 3 periods in a regular season game

Good game last night. Shaky 1st but dominated the 2nd and 3rd.
Rempe is definitely watching his p's & q's... I think its gonna take a little bit for him to settle back in. Kind of like Kreider when he was getting poop for running into goalies. He changed his game for a little |

that first Panarin goal last night was so clutch, it was feeling like a rough night until that moment

I though he was good last night. Threw some big hits, kept the puck moving. All fine things. |

It’s tough to dress him if he’s only playing 5 minutes. I feel like Edstrom would be utilized better, but it’s tough to see Brod not playing once game one rolls around. They need divvy up the minutes more for the 4th line |

Yeah, I was a little concerned with the start. Panarin is just amazing. He's gonna play till he's old like Jagr, and be effective |

I thought he was definitely watching himself. He wasn't bad but looked like he was holding back. |

Only needs 7 more point to have one of the top 5 best Ranger seasons ever. |

He almost killed McAvoy in the 2nd period. McAvoy just side stepped him. |

I think Edstrom is better defensively, but Rempe is better offensively and physically. Personally would want Rempe in the line up, or better yet, put both in. |

I think its not even a discussion he has been the Rangers best free agent signing. With the way he plays the game, and the fact at 32 he only has 9 seasons, I could easily see him playing to 40 |

they are just a little over 15 months away from being able to give Panarin an extension if they want to |

I mean we should probably wait to see if he shows up or disappears in the playoffs this year, right? |
