I don't think one shootout win over florida will change the season-long trend that florida is the team to beat because they're a ferocious playoff-style team.

But yes we have just as good a shot as anyone of being the team that gets scorching hot at just the right time

Agreed. I don't think all the hype around florida and carolina will help them at all in the playoffs. Teams with low expectations often surprise, look no further than us in 2022

I think Cuylle sitting was a mistake (vs that opponent). He needs to play in a game like that.

Rempe is such a momentum turner. Once he starts getting more ice time and a little better, he’s going to be huge for them (pun intended). You can tell the other team KNOWS when he’s out there and are about the get hit pretty hard

Remember when we were complaining about Fox? lol. He’s been Norris level for a few weeks. Milller and Schneider continue to impress me. Since Trouba and Lindgren went down they’ve been much better handling the load of them being out. Jones too has been really good

I was a little annoyed at Shesty last night (after the Verhaghe goal) til the shootout save. That was a big point he sealed for them

The schedule really eases up as far as opponents go after the next two games. All very winnable games after the Avs, and not out of the question they get the prez trophy. Give me it so they can have home ice vs everyone.

I dont mind it, Jones has played very well as of late. I think Jones is playing himself into a position where he and Gus are on a very similar level now. I still cant get over how small he is, but damn can he move with the puck.

I wonder if Lav is actually paying attention to how good Miller/Schneider have looked and wont just "default back to factory settings". Fully healthy, the "3rd pair" should be Gus or Jones/Trouba.
