I wonder if Lav is actually paying attention to how good Miller/Schneider have looked and wont just "default back to factory settings". Fully healthy, the "3rd pair" should be Gus or Jones/Trouba.

The thing I like about keeping Miller/Schneider together and putting Trouba on the "3rd pair" is that all 3 pairs could be rolled pretty equally 5 on 5. Would save all of their legs a bit. And you can still put Trouba out there late in games and for big dzone faceoffs like Lavy usually does, but I think we've all seen both Miller and Schneider elevate their games playing together. Trouba and Miller have been a hot mess at times this year

Reality is Trouba isn’t good in his own at 5v5. He’s best used for the PK. Plus milller/schneider work better and are the future
