So don’t worry? Be happy?
I’m sure that’s what Tocchet is telling them.

- K-man25

I’m sure he’s telling them it’s playoff hockey now. Precursor to the real season. Dial it in.

Canucks have a great D with everyone healthy. They say that wins championships, but……
Goalie goes a long way, when’s Demko expected back?

- K-man25

Yes in goal is important. I’d guess back for the last 4-5 games. No rush & rested.

Physicality really ramps up in the PO’s. Can we handle it & also dish it out? On the former a big test. On the latter I’ve no doubt we can. Gotta play it smart & not run around &/or result in over aggressive penalties. That’ll be my concern.

lol

This PO experience has merit & it also has holes in it. The former usually is the case.

Avs, Stars, Jets all good teams. It's going to be war to get to the finals this year.

The Flames were smart to sit this one out.

Agree. Teams having experience is less important than players having it. Nobody ever brings back the same team, there’s always changes to the roster. Having some vets with experience goes a long way.

spoken like a true Flames fan. Idiots. They just stick to their process, it’s clearly been a recipe for success, being they’re in first place.

You think a regular season game translates to what will happen in the playoffs? The 1st round in the playoffs will be the measuring stick. Ask Boston how much the regular season translates.

Playoff experience and a team upping their level of play once the postseason starts are factors. Health of the team also. We've seen time and time again once a team is in all bets are off.

What do the Canucks have for playoff experience? 1 time to the dance in the last 8 years and a lot of young players. Winning 1st in the division or 1st in the conference even more put extra pressure on a team to perform.

Can the Canucks 'up their game' in the playoffs? Can they get by that dreaded 1st round and beat a team that's been fighting for their lives all season just to get in and have been playing at that 'level' for probably weeks before the postseason starts?

Should be interesting.

Those "meaningless" back to back losses in Ontario have really brought out the butthurt in Drummy.

It's so funny that the Canucks have been the most consistent team in Canada this season while being told nonstop by fans of all the others it's unsustainable and they're going to fall apart

I wonder how badly Holland is gonna fuck it up when Drai says he's not gonna sign there after they collapse in the playoffs again

I'll concede that the canucks, as a team, do not have playoff experience. But that does not mean they are totally void of playoff experience.

I'm encouraged by the playoff experience of the coaching staff. Tocchet, Foote, Gonchar, and Yeo have won Cups as players or as coaches, or both. Daniel and Henrik Sedin are Hall of Famers with a ton of playoff experience.

I know it's not the same but there's experience there, just not as a cohesive unit.

I actually think there's a chance of it benefiting them to trade Draitsaitl and keep McDavid honestly. They are both built to play the same role on a team. They've done the absolute best they possibly could in the playoffs together and it was nowhere close to good enough.

Win or lose, I think Drai is already there.
You can see it in his body language.

Any success will come to sticking to structure & believing in it. RT & staff working hard on drilling it into them. Big test is ahead.

Maybe but not so sure about that. The 9.25m Nurse is a horrible contract & their D isn’t impressive to begin with. In goal is nothing special.

And maybe by trading Drai they could address those needs
