Anyone have some reports on DPetey in Abby? Haven't heard about anything other than his arrival.

And maybe by trading Drai they could address those needs
- NorthNuck

Based on their track record, doubtful. They've had years to address it while he was there. I'm sure he'll net a haul, but they'll be giving up the best player and then putting even more weight on McDong

No matter what happens, they'll probably get worse and we can all laugh

I'll concede that the canucks, as a team, do not have playoff experience. But that does not mean they are totally void of playoff experience.

Ian Cole 116
JT Miller 78
Tyler Myers 49
Nikita Zadorov 45
Carson Soucy 26
Teddy Blueger 24
Ilya Mikheyev 19
Elias Pettersson 17*
Quinn Hughes 17*
Brock Boeser 17*
Sam Lafferty 10
Conor Garland 8
Mark Friedman 6
Thatcher Demko 4*
Phil Di Giuseppe 3
Casey DeSmith 1
Dakota Joshua 1

I'm encouraged by the playoff experience of the coaching staff. Tocchet, Foote, Gonchar, and Yeo have won Cups as players or as coaches, or both. Daniel and Henrik Sedin are Hall of Famers with a ton of playoff experience.

I know it's not the same but there's experience there, just not as a cohesive unit.

I'd go even further into Coaching staffs. Edmonton is going in with a rookie Coach with zero NHL playoff experience.

Tocchet has a few things yup his sleeve for PO's IMO. Gonna be interesting. But ultimately this club will need to play way above the soft levels of the reg. season. Remains to be seen.

Win or lose, I think Drai is already there.
You can see it in his body language.

I wouldn't call it "twitter". That's just a bad take by someone who has a lot of them on players and scouting.

Even then at the time of that tweet it really wasn't all that close. Haula was never going to be close to Miller.

At the time of that tweet
Miller 237 points in 435 games.
Haula 151 points in 357 games.

Haula two years older.

Since that tweet
Miller 389 points in 354 games
Haula 163 points in 332 games.

For someone who claims to be proficient in doing his own research, you should have figured out that the tweet was a couple days after the trade for Miller.
While doing your research, you also would have found that JD Burke was a big fan of Haula and also has many poor takes on anything hockey.
Burke obviously wanted Haula and not the better player in Miller. Some of this stuff isn't rocket science.

It doesn't, he's just trying to find stuff to post, obviously there were no cookies on the counter.
