How many odd-man rushed did the Leafs give up yesterday?!? It was shockingly high.
In Woll I trust. But Sammy is great too #niceproblemtohave |

Brodie should sit for the rest of the season
Woll starter for playoffs please
I hear that Cowan kid is pretty good, I wonder if he elevates his game even more in playoffs
Go Jays, looking forward to Jays/Leafs 4-9:30 on Thursday |

A little too early to call that, but both are playing really well. Woll inspires a little more confidence in me at the moment, but Sammy has been pretty clutch. Unfortunately for Woll, he's faced Boston x2 and Carolina in the last little bit so that hurts his stats. |

Woll always inspires more confidence for me.
I really don't understand why people sweep Sammys .889 sv% under the rug. Yeah he has a good glove. He is capable of helping the Leafs win games.
To me its so insanely obvious who is better and gives the Leafs the best chance in a 7 game series...but hey if Sammy way outplays Woll over the last 12 games then yeah he earns game 1.
But after that game, I think we see Woll grab a hold of it. |

Ya i agree, it will come down to the last week and health.
But it seems like its sammies job to lose |

Dont care who starts, but it will come down to health, who plays well in the final week or so and who the opponent is.
Sammie wont have to "way outplay" woll, just has to play well.
If we play boston, sammie will be the starter if hes healthy. Wolls record ais horrible against boston |

That number is HUGELY influenced by an absolutely terrible start to the season. I'm curious what his sv% is after his software upgrade.

Is there any update on his injury? Keefe seems to be downplaying it as not a big deal, but not sure I've seen a more definitive update.

Pretty irrelevant.
No way Keefe uses this logic whatsoever, especially considering the variables in those games this year with the team.
Woll will be the starter, I am pretty certain about it.
Sammy will probably get injured eventually anyways so Woll gets the net either way. |

Yeah Woll's 2 games vs Boston matters but lets forget ALL those Sammy games.
It is part of his season, he is capable of going through stretches where he does not see the puck.
Goaltending is a mental game as well and Sammy is always capable of letting that slip.
"but he has also yielded three goals or more in 11 of those 19 starts. His save percentage in that span is .908, just above league average. Good, but not great."
Per the Athletic...Sammy really hasn't been anything special. There is a reason his sv percentage is still horrible. |

Since feb 27th, the last 8 starts its roughly .907 it seems.
Wolls last 8 starts have him around. 899.
Not a huge difference |

Ya its irrelevant at all. - Fakepartofme
Very irrelevant.
Team was a mess and was battling the flu, and played awful the 1st game.
If that is relevant then so is Sammys disastrous start to the season.
Can't be a serious person and fault Woll for 2 games from the past but not fault Sammy for 10-15 games.
And hey you want to go off games vs Boston? How about playoff games in general. Sammy is 5-10 with a 3.06 GAA and a .902 SV%.
Is that irrelevant though? Because it goes against your baseless argument? |

My gawd, you're so whiny
Dec 2nd woll posted a .892 against boston
During samsonov's horrible start he posted a .950 against boston.
Again, no one is arguing (except you as usual), all ive said is i dont care who starts, but that it will most likely come down to the last week and a bit, and who's healthy. If both are healthy and playing well, then the opponent could factor into the decision.
But go ahead get pissy and tell us how "its going to be".
Lol
Moving on. |

I think its easier to start Sammy. If he sucks, Woll has the demeanor to step in. If Woll starts and crumbles, the pressure on Sammy is amplified. |

Nah your shtick is just to call someone whiny and say they are "arguing" when they bring up solid points to prove you wrong. Really hope you don't do this to people in person, very narcissistic like. But hey you are allowed to try and prove your point and another wrong and others aren't so I would not be surprised if this was the first time you were called that. Then a catch phrase like "Jesus" or "cool" for good measure. Its rinse and repeat with you.
And me get pissy by saying what its "going to be"?
Dude, its all you do is say what its going to be lol. More narsacsistic tendencies from you.
You are the one that commented against my opinion saying how you thought it was wrong, which hey I have no problem with. Please do.
But when someone comes back at you to to explain their side you can't stand it and try to gain some weird high ground by saying they are the one arguing.
And yeah I think Woll is going to be the starter, absolutely. I think I have been pretty clear on why I think he will and should be.
"Moving on" to take a page form your book to try and keep that high ground |
