Very interesting post

If long term season ticket holders with their hearts into retaining similar seats (say no now) while the team is also winning, what makes the bills think the psl will hold any value?

I guess if we win the superbowl , seats and psl’s would be impossible to come bye?

I didn’t even think about local businesses vs regular consumers. I don’t think the tax laws help any longer with writing off seats as a business expense.

The tax code states that “expenses for recreational, social, or similar activities (including facilities therefor) primarily for the benefit of employees” qualify for the 100% deduction. However, purchasing tickets to take a business client to a sporting event or other entertainment-type events are not deductible.

the interesting part in this

how would the irs know if the business is giving away those seats to employees or using it for themselves and their friends

Funny how saying using your speed to cause chaos could help you defensively. Turned into Defense takes away scoring. I will say this when the Sabres use there Speed and put Puck Pressure on all over the Ice, they are a very Good Team. Unfortunately they only show up to do that in about 25 games.

Yup, but to me that is largely on the players...coaches for sure, but how many times do they need to be told to play that way.

Most companies require reports for expenses that specify who, what, where, when, why.
It is a federal offense to falsify business records to reduce tax liability.
Doesn't stop people from do8ng so.
This is precisely why Briben Biden needs those additional 80,000 IRS agents.

They're not hiring 87,000 new agents for nothing.

Today is a day to rejoice, according to the Sabres - we honor a half a player who holds the record for most NHL games played without a playoff experience - Jeff Skinner.

Good things come in threes - a new scoreboard, a new roof and a loser of epic proportions. Let's go Sabres!

Terry Pegula congratulation video o/u 30 seconds for Skinner?

This will reveal the truth to how this organization feels about Skinzy, u/ green light to move, o/ add him to the list of questionable moves made this offseason when he gets extended.

My gut says it’ll be an AI Terry who goes 47 seconds….(they charge by the minute and Terry wanted the most for his $$ but also not look to happy)

Homie, you a Belew-era Crimson fan?
- Powerslave

I'm pretty stoked about the BEAT lineup. Levin, Belew and especially Danny Carey are all friggin amazing, but I can do without Steve Vai unless he's finally learned to restrain himself and not play every note he knows on every song.

And the Wetton era, as Homie stated, is pretty awesome. I still listen to the Red album and Larks Tongues part 2 on a regular basis...but that 80s lineup was really hard to beat (pun intended).
