It feels silly to have to give credit to a coach for that but I guess that’s where GG left us
- picklerick

And Quinn. Imagine sticking Laf with Colin Blackwell and expecting him to hard carry? No disrespect to Blackwell. He's a fine depth player. GG, well that's just a special type of smooth brain.

My nephew was at the game in Arizona, he said it was essentially a home game.

I’ve gotten used to Jones out there.

Should at leave try Jones-Trouba, a little bit of yin and yang.

Oh yeah. Reasonably common to hear the "Let's Go, Rangers!" chants. But, to clearly hear the goal celebration song ringing out is another level!!

I definitely prefer Jones to Gustafsson but I am glad Gus is skating

if we play until mid June like we all hope, all 8 defensemen on the roster are going to be needed at some point

The D pairs come with a disclaimer because they were doing special teams work earlier and they may have just kept these guys together for the next drill, but the pairs we just saw were:

Miller - Fox
Lindgren - Trouba
Jones - Schneider

that's new...

Meant to post this earlier, but when was the last time the Rangers had a line like this? Where the feeling was they could score on most of their shifts?

Forward lines with the most goals per 60 minutes played together 5 on 5. (Minimum 300 minutes together) https://moneypuck.com/lines.htm

Damn, those florida and dallas lines are crazy. Their differential between goals for and against per 60 is wild

That's just 5 on 5. but the fact that the Barkov line has been ON for 10 goals against is unbelievable.

I think whats crazy is the minutes theyve put in together, its far and away more than the line in 2nd.

That is correct, and if we're being honest. That's the Rangers 1st line now. they lead the team in minutes played together and it is not close.

That doesnt nearly surprise me as much as the SJ line being on for only 14 goals considering how bad that team is. The Canucks line also only 10 goals, but also shocked at the scoring efficiency of those 3.

That Minnesota-Vegas game on Saturday was crazy. I had no idea that Minnesota didn't even get the loser point in OT because they pulled their goalie and that's how Vegas scored the OT winner. How does that get reflected in the standings? As just a regulation loss?

They did that earlier this month and that topic came up. they pulled the goalie in OT and won. Jeff Marek and Freidman said on the next 32T podcast that if they had lost, they don't the point. Crazy rule. All the more reason why the league should switch to a 3-2-1-0 system.

The funny thing is no one's even talking about it this weekend cuz Minnesota is so irrelevant now. At least back when they did it they had a tiny outside shot of getting in still

Frank Seravalli saying Collin Graf is going to an Eastern Conference team. Doesn't have team confirmed but mentions Bruins as a possibility.
