Up by 3 in the 3rd. No need to be a hot dog and if you’re going for it (frank)ing score.
- Grinder47

lol your threshold for hotdogging is preposterously low.

Anyways, never in doubt.

I know you have to know you're dying on a hill here. There's not a single hockey player in the world going to do what you're saying in that situation hahah

If the greatest hockey mind of all time Jeff Carter were capable of still generating 1v0 breakaways he would have shot that.

I mean I personally would have went behind the net and Michigan’d the puck right in. But that’s just me.

Didn’t he score on his only breakaway of the season? Bad form dude.

We're gonna accidentally slip into the playoffs... win the first round 4 games to 1... and THEN get swept once our hopes are up

Comical how much better shea and st ivany are than graves. No coincidence we play better with him out of the lineup.

Also Ned is the starter for every game to finish the season.

Between those two and Ludwig if we spend a dime on shoring up the bottom pairing this offseason I will personally egg Dubas’s house.

DOC made several small plays that were big in this game. He's playing great hockey at both ends. St. Ivany again was really solid. Love that we have some kids getting a chance to shine.

Definitely. Plus the 2nd line with Bunting and Rak there is infinitely better than what we had the first 3/4 of the season.

Hahaha on the second attempt maybe make a play like that instead, if available. He may have been able to get it back to our D and they leave zone then dump it back in.. But honestly at that point I had tunnel vision on Rust and their net hahah no idea if that sh!t was an option, or not.. He had Caps all around him haha

Removing graves and replacing him with literally anybody but to have Poj, Shea, st ivany actually holding things down is huge.

Nice to see Sid have a “night off” and they still get the win.

It’s times like this I’d like to see the 3-2-1 point system. A quick glance at the standings and the Pens have more regulation wins than the NYI, Detroit, Washington, and Philly.

I don’t think we can move him but we HAVE to just take the loss on him and treat him like the Flyers treated late stage Andrew MacDonald. We simply can’t afford to play him over these other guys that actually contribute no matter how much money he’s making.

It's really noticeable Graves isn't out there killing his D partner.

Let's hope Sully can be convinced to do this. I'm not holding my breath. Maybe we can take back someone else's bad contract in a deal.
