The Flame have been officially eliminated from the playoffs, do you hear the footsteps any longer K-man? #suckit

He won't make it to the Flames at 9th or 10th overall. Your team, or poor ownership, even screwed that up. #movetheteam

Interview with Rutherford just the other day about Petterson, they are not concerned about his struggles and they are working hard to getting him going.

More importantly, the Canucks will be fine, the crest on the front is more important than the names on the back of the sweaters.

True. Thanks to Benning and some tweaking by Rutherford and Allvin we have much to look forward too. Hopefully Tocchet has a 'Vigneault' style run here and we can get back to the cup finals in the next 4-5 years. We finally have a watchable product and future with this club which is great for the fan base.

lol will be interested to read the KY narrative moving forward. Flames have come a long way from 'Treliving, Markstrom, Tanev, Johnny Hockey and Turtlechuk' as the saviours.

Absolutely, in retrospect I’m thankfully Benning was such a bumbling idiot that he lost so much, that gave him and the scouting staff good draft position to pick Pettersson, Hughes and Demko. It’s just too bad he (frank)ed up the Virtanen, Juolevi and Podkolzin picks, along with trading away McCann for Gudbranson. ………..

All GM's have some gaffes. Jury is still out on Pods IMO he could pull a 'Hogs' and just explode given the opportunity. But yeah sucks about JV and Juolevi had such high hopes for OJ. He literally dominated at Mem.Cup. looked so great. But I watched JV quite a bit as a Calgary Hitman and figured he'd be a 50/50 bust. Was lazy and stupid in Junior and it translated to the NHL. But I sure miss those 3 on 1 shift changes by JV those were epic.

Coyotes have eight picks in the first three rounds to build on their unbelievably great pool of kids. Should be ready for the new arena at the beginning of the 2027/28 season. Land auction is June 27th, all things falling into place for the the desert dogs!!

lol nice well done. So the current franchise can bleed 20-40 million per year in cash for the next 4 years while the desert dogs are homeless outside. Well done Gary!!

It's a Fennec Fox... also known as desert fox. Native to North Africa and the middle east.

Leave it to Lordy to muck up a simple picture of a North American coyote.

Nikita Kucherov has seven games to get ten more assists which will give him 100 on the year, and no ones talking about it. The guy is having an absolute monster NHL season!!! I think only Gretzky, Lemieux and Bobby Orr have done it? Soon to be McDavid.

Read someone's comment on another site that said the Salt Lake owners should just outbid and win the land auction. Fuck over the Coyote owners and force Bettman to move the team to them

I think the minimum bid is 68.5 million so it would have to be more than that and you’d have to have big balls and deep pockets to pull that off.

Easy. Win bid. Force move. Pull out of land deal (bigly, most smartest move ever). Own an NHL team in Salt Lake.
