To my pleasant surprise the Isles (with help from other teams) have been making the playoff race interesting. The odds calculated by the site below still favor them NOT making the playoffs. But it does make these games more fun to watch.

I believe this site calculated their chances of making the playoffs a couple weeks ago at 4%. Now it's 39%.

Meanwhile, the Penguins have gotten hot and have come from out of nowhere to challenge for a playoff spot.

They have made it interesting that is for sure. Do not get me wrong, I want them to win. The reality side of me is saying that even if they make it. It will be a one and done. That is a big if...
