Where was this team all year?
- LAHawk

Think we'd have seen more of this had they been able to stay healthy.

Kaiser is having a solid game and he’s been impressive since being recalled.
- DarthKane

Was going to mention him and Slaggert too. Both of those guys coming in and playing well have contributed to the better play overall of late.

Enthwhistle with a nice effort again tonight. Ive enjoyed his progres this year.

Agreed. I wonder if he’ll be back next year? I’d be ok either way, but he could have a place on the 4th line/PK unit.

Another nice play by Kaiser.
Took the puck behind his own net
Dallas fwd coming at him
And he was able to quickly get out
One thing that he is really good at is his stop/start timing.
He gets going very quickly.
This is only the 2nd or 3rd game that I've watched since he was recalled. Looks very different when compared to the beginning of the season.

I can see KD signing him. 3 years @ 1.35m a year would be the number i give him. He has improved this year and is something we don't have alot of in the system a Forward with Size. He has gotten better each year.

He used his time in the AHL well. You can see the difference in his game.

Who coaches the D in Rockford. Whoever it is, seems whoever is sent down (Vlasic, Kaiser) come back more “polished”

(frank) Chicago!!! Bastards. Ha ha ha ha. Both of our teams suck and the central is ruled by Avs and the stars. Not the north stars. Now they are called the Wild. What a strange world. Detroit is no longer in the west. I miss the Norris division days

How is it that the Dallas stars are the best in the central?? They are not that good.

I gotta say
It is a joy to listen to Razor call a game

He is very very good as is the Star's PBP Man.... Old man DeBrusk likes Kaiser's game.

Kaiser's patience, and the way he passed the puck to the middle of the ice even though he had an easy pass on the wing to Donato (I think) was really nice.
Looked like a savy veteran play, and against a team like Dallas too.

Right on, Cap'n.,. Kaiser has the puck on his stick all game with a lotta little plays but he's also been beat a few times. ....... Damn nice and fun player to watch.

Oh he's far from a finished product.
Still makes mistakes, but they look like things he'll just learn with experience.
The skills and hockey brain seem to be there as of right now.
He's a 3rd rd pick. If you want to be a contender a handfull of your 3rd rounders need to be NHLers - Robertson,Hintz,KucherovPoint etc...

Nice W for the Blackhawks.

When you look at a prospect that is mocked to the 3rd or 4th round,is there anything that ever tells you:
1) he could be a top 6 or top 4 defender
2) his ceiling is nothing more than a 3rd liner or 5/6 d man?

We definitely need to see him continue to improve and not regress. Personally I thought Kaiser didn't have his best game today. He didn't have an ideal D pair either, but the Stars had their way with them on a lot of shifts.

The Stars had their way with most of the Blackhawks except Mrazek.

Wow the officiating was pretty bad. Called Blackwell for a hook that never happened and then penalized Marchment for falling down. And there was no way that stick wasn't above the crossbar. I loved that Ref saying it was a good goal and then giving Dallas a delay of game penalty. I hope these guys don't ref in the playoffs.

They just sent two men at the puck carrier all game and covered up the options. They were forechecking as a 5 man unit and dared the Hawks to complete two passes to beat them. Helped that other than a couple of guys no one was making friends with the puck today.

Has to be Sorensen or Nightingale. I think Klinkhammer handles the forwards.

One of the refs was a rookie. They need to learn at the NHL level too.

January 13th, 1968. He was hit by 2 California Golden Seals players and fell backward hitting his head on the ice. He played college hockey with Denver University, was originally drafted by Montreal, and made the NHL after the 6 to 12 expansion.
