Dallas/Avs will be a very good series this year, Dallas has a very good chance to win the cup imo

Torts has a three year shelf life.

I can't see him keeping the job past this year. The guy's a total Richard.

Looks like Lindholm might be in the lineup soon:

Tocchet listed Lindholm (wrist) as “possible,” to face the Coyotes and that “he’s getting close.”

Also, chalk up another player (Lafferty) that thinks the bubble wasn't actual playoffs:

I played one game in the bubble (2020) and it wasn’t the same intensity level. It wasn’t true playoff hockey.

It seems the players could certainly learn much about playoff hockey from these threads!

Will be good to get Lindy back for Yotes game and prep for playoffs.

Then Demko Saturday and we got some time to get the team ready to rumble the playoffs.

Good on Lafferty, for backing up the teams true captain, Brock.

Torts knows the game that isn't in doubt, it's his style and application now. Today's players just aren't receptive to that style and they tune him out quickly. And we pretty much have players not wanting to play where Torts is...says alot.

lol I don't think Brockstar could captain a 7/11 let alone an NHL Hockey club. But, a 40 goal guy has clout.

So it’s got to be Silovs getting the start today, right?

Or do you try to get DeSmith a final game, assuming he will be the backup for the playoffs (and hoping he doesn’t see any action).

I think you go Silovs. DeSmith plays better when he's rested and he's been playing a fair chunk lately. Let him rest, and potentially give him the Jets depending on how things shake out in the standings/how Demko is feeling.

(Plus Silvos is just playing better right now)

Pretty historic night tonight as well. It will be the last time the Canucks ever play the Arizona Coyotes.

I’m thinking they go with DeSmith tonight, and pray that Demko is Saturday and can play the rest of the way, I think we need our #1 to take the team all the way.

Lazy Kuzmenko 2 more points last night, goal and an assist.
That’s 11 the last 6 games.

Well, good news, one of us is gonna be right

But yes, if they're gonna make any actual noise in the playoffs they need Demko.

Kuzmenko has played 24 games for the Flames. He has 1 goal against a playoff team. And that was his first game.

Good at scoring against bad teams, bad at scoring against teams that actually play defense
