Fair point. All of it. I still think TK has good value this summer. An entire year with the ability to resign him should be enticing for a team looking to get that final offensive piece. I agree that as the season goes on his value diminishes and the only hope is for a bidding war at the TDL.

TK seems like the perfect Red Wing. I think he would mix well with Larkin, and fits their age group.

They have a bunch of young players and prospects and they have lots of picks too.

Yeah I really wanted him moved at draft last year. Thought value highest and help them bottom out. This draft will be telling. He gets extended even more telling unfortunately. Really hoping they do the right thing

The Sens just sold for almost $1B. The Yotes are about to go for $1.3B. So Melnyk and Meruelo not only soaked up revenue sharing all these years, they're also gonna reap huge returns on sale.

And if those weak sister teams are getting sold for that much... what do you think that does for the value of teams like the Leafs, Rangers, Wings and Habs?
