The problem is they gave a short handed goal, went 0-5 on the PP, and blew a lead again. Regardless if they make the playoffs, they need to improve this team. I think the lack of star power is evident in the shootouts.

Maybe I am the Debbie Downer but if you are an isles fan and your happy with that game...Well???

We have learned throughout the season that this team has the inability to lockdown a game.

We have learned that this team cannot use the powerplay to their advantage at critical points in the game.

We have learned that our once mighty PK cannot stop a PeeWee powerplay.


We have learned that if this team won half the games that they lost in OT/Shootouts they would be via for top spot in the metro.

If by some cruel miracle of the hockey gods, this team makes it into the playoffs. We will meet up with our kryptonite in the Canes. Is it worth an extra 4 games??? I look at not making the playoffs puts more heat on Lou to make substantial changes.

Yea ask any player in the NHL if making the playoffs is important a d 💯 will say yes. Of course the special teams need work but they won 7 straight and against some really good teams and the isles have one of the best records vs the best teams in the league. That was a great game and anything can happen if you get in.

Absolutely. I was bummed 8 or 9 games ago but they put it together since. Nice to see Fasching contribute bigly today. Sorokin with a great gsme too.

Like I said w/o Dobson that special team is toast. They could potentially figure it out without him but this team doesn’t seem to figure out sh!t super quick. Maybe Aho sees god or Roy does the intelligent thing and gives Reilly legit pp1 time.

It's looking pretty good. We can thank the Flyers for imploding. What a collapse.

I disagree with the anything can happen idea. It's technically true, but not very realistic. Don't get me wrong, I'll be happy to watch more Isles games. I just don't see them making any noise.

I get it. Deep down I want them to make it. I just do not see them playing anymore than four games if they match up with the Canes. I wish I felt differently but I do not see it.

I do not want to see them be embarrassed.
