I don’t think they’ve started to limit the chances and he’s also rebounding maybe having gotten a slight bit more rest. Regardless it’s good news. Washington is gonna lock this down to get it to OT.

I don t think the Devils were good today, but I liked Ersson's mental toughness to stop his slide the last 2 games. I see that as a positive.

Next season they have a triumvirate at goalie. Very confident Fedotov gets re signed in my statement. Ersson starts off the season as #1, see if the Russians can push him out of the way.

And they still have Kolosov, Zavragin and Bjarnason in the pipeline. I'm not too worried about goaltending much. Goaltending doesn't matter much until they find some type of star/skilled forward to lead this group. They could have Hasek back there and if they can't put offense pressure on other teams on a nightly basis then their just gonna get stressed until they break anyway.

Ivan needs more time to acclimate. Full training camp and preseason games to start to fully adapt to the league. I see some good raw stuff from him though.

That's why I said pipeline, but the goaltenders they do have are adequate enough for the team in front of them right now. No point going out to get a high priced one, even one with a good track record, just to get torched.
