Yup. The Leafs remain terminally flawed - they lack balance throughout the lineup and a goalie that can play consistently (yes, yes - many teams suffer that last point).

I'm liking the grit added per the d-corps, but I'm not sure it will be enough unless Samsonov (or Woll) has an outstanding playoff run.

I like it.

Knies has been finding his groove lower in the line up against weaker opponents.

To me that is 4 lines of threat, physical and scoring threats.

Edit: also, McMann/Jarn/Knies are interchangeable on any of the 2,3,4 lines to really mess with the other coach.

And also Keefe has tried one smart thing when the team needs offense, load up the top 6 with:

Bert, Matthews, Domi
Nylander, JT, Marner

So there's that combo too.

Playoffs will come down to HEART of the team, balls of the Core 4, Keefe not (frank)ing up.

Holy (frank) calm down man, jesus you sound like AA now it was meant (mostly) as a joke.

That being said Marner could have gone to one of the other 2 Tampa players on the ice and tied them up at least vs looking like the guy with vapour lock in the middle of a war zone and who knows he very well may have done that - like I said this is a pic at a specific moment in time.

I never said he nor Willy nor Matthews for that matter should be fighters.
