The Fox slash and the Rempe goalie interference I thought were soft.

I actually thought the ADA hit shouldn't have been anything after the replay. In real time I thought it was a major though

- SkjeiStadium

It was a penalty because he left his feet. All the replays said watch his elbow. His elbow was tucked in , but it came UP when he elevated himself by JUMPING!

They got the call in the end correct, but my oh my, the presentation was terrible. And Subban's explanation in the intermission was COMPLETELY wrong. Just look at Messier shaking his head and looking down, because he knew they didn't have enough time to debate it on air!

Rempe out late, partying with the extras. He only played 7 minutes in Game 1. #NYR

Idk in the replay I thought ADAs feet were on the ground when he first made contact and came up after contact. He definitely exploded up through the hit though. Either way there were plenty of calls missed or miscalled so I'm just glad we capitalized on the couple chances we got

While I agree with this sentiment, we are talking about Chytil, the longest tenured Ranger beyond Kreider right? I think this is an opportunity to galvanize around this "veteran" getting back into the lineup.

And like TJ said, it's only a matter of time before a Rempe penalty (phantom or not) hurts this team. It almost happened against the Caps but the Rangers were about to rise above it.

It’s the playing with fire aspect that scares me and the officials aren’t letting him play his came so it’s pointless to play him. The record is meaningless game to game and the laws of physics suggest that streak ends sooner rather then later. Let’s start a new unbeaten streak with Fil playing

Don't like the idea of throwing Chytil into the playoffs after having been out for so long. He's going to have rust, how many games will it take to really get back into game shape?

I do agree with you guys about bringing Fil in for the most part. He's immensely more skilled than Rempe and it would be great to get more scoring.

Ease him into things. He can play 7-10 minutes for the first couple of games until he’s ready to go. We have the luxury of already doing this with Rempe and it’s working, so a like-for-like replacement as far as playing time.

He’s been practicing for what feels like a month at this point, so his fitness level should be ready. Having options this time of year is pretttttty, prettttttty, pretty sweet

Conversely, Canes have Max Comtois taking shifts with Stefan Noesen. Looks like they're bringing in a bit more jam.
- BINGO!

Your view on this? Because Noesen to me is a far better player than Comtois

Sorry should have clarified, he was on a line with Noesen.

They were rotating combinations of:

Kotkaniemi - Kuznetsov - Noesen
Comtois - Kuznetsov - Noesen
Comtois - Kotkaniemi - Noesen

Comtois was spectacular in the one game he played for the Canes this year after they gave him a contract. I think if he does get into a game he'll likely stick for the rest of the playoffs. Definitely a Brind'amour type.

His size does provide for more gravitational pull and his release of energy from potential to kinetic while hitting someone are indeed punishing based on his inertia...but I believe you are looking for the law of averages.

I mean this respectfully towards Blake, but I really hope it doesn’t get to a point where he plays. I know he’s hungry to win a cup but his speed is will not translate well in the playoffs nowadays

If Wheeler sees the ice, we won't be in a good place.
