Too early for reports on who is skating this morning, but I would expect the same healthy scratches for tonight as last game. Maybe a little different if Strome or Goodrow are banged up enough to need a rest.
I can't imagine the Rangers have a strong enough preference between playing you guys or Pitt to risk an injury to the top guys and play full out for a win tonight.
Good luck to you in the first round (so long as it's not us you're playing!).

Powerplay is once again inept, penalty kill is non-existent, goalie can not stop a beach ball...things are not looking good in Capsland with the playoffs imminent. Could be a long summer. Oh well.

Rangers are usually a cure for that, especially another team's back-up.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't Brian. The fans earlier this month were saying 'get rest for the vets!!' Now they are and the fans are complaining. I think the Caps, like most teams don't really care who they are playing. I think they made the decision to be rested and ready next week for whoever. I think Ovi starts game one no problem. This is risky yes but sports in general have risk. We will see if they gambled correctly or not and if not, heads might roll in the offseason, GM, Coaches and players.
